NEC Unified Solutions have added enhanced desktop video conferencing and collaboration capabilities to the Univerge SV8100 Telephone System. The Polycom VVX1500 Business Media Telephone has been interworked into the SV8100 and integrated applications can now be incorporated on the colour touch screen desk telephone, some of the features for the telephone include video and high definition voice clarity.
The use of Video conferencing is growing within businesses today especially with the state of the economy and shrinking travel and operating budgets you can still have a meeting face to face. The Polycom VVX150 Business Media Telephone is already compatible with the NEC iS3300 and is now available with the Univerge SV8100 bringing video conferencing to a single user’s desk and allows for face to face conversations with remote parties without having to leave your desk.
Thanks to this addition to the NEC SV8100 Telephone System, this enhanced collaboration facility now also comes available to small and medium size businesses. The easy access to voice and video applications facilitated by simple and fast (one-touch) call set-up will help increase remote collaboration, build relationships and speed up business processes.
